Our first-ever (now an annual tradition!) Sunset Cinema event with Knox County Parks and Rec was a fantastic evening of fall fun, featuring pumpkin painting, temporary tattoos, and a variety of ball and sports activities for all ages.
Before the shows, we hosted a costume contest with four prize categories: Cutest, Most Creative, Scariest and Funniest. The movie lineup kicked off with a family favorite, Hocus Pocus at 7:30 PM, followed by a showing of A Quiet Place at 9:30 PM for older audiences.
Thank you Strawberry Plains Church – Riverbend Campus for supplying hot dogs and chips, Mascot Baptist Church for providing bottled water, and Godsway Baptist Church for sharing delicious popcorn with everyone!
On October 28th, Mascot United had the pleasure of participating in the East Knox Elementary Trunk or Treat, and we had an absolute blast! From Mason’s eye-catching hot rod to the fun disco-ghost ambiance of our setup, our team showed up ready to celebrate the spooky season in style.
Thank you to East Knox Elementary for inviting us and for hosting such a fun, family-friendly event. We loved seeing all the creative costumes, decorated trunks, and smiling faces!
Held on October 29th, the event welcomed families from all around Mascot for an evening of safe, festive fun.
We were thrilled to provide free hot dogs, chips, and drinks for everyone who participated, and we were especially excited by the larger-than-expected turnout. Dozens of creatively decorated trunks, costumed kids, and smiling faces made for a truly memorable night.
Thank you to all the volunteers, trunk decorators, and community members who made this event such a hit.
